The bot has danced on stage with Rihanna and Will.I.Am and visited 48 countries.

The world-famous Titan the Robot will appear at Tech Expo Humber at the Bonus Arena next month.

A world-famous robot who has danced on stage with Rihanna and Will.I.Am is on his way to a Hull tech event.

The 8ft Titan the Robot has been confirmed for the Tech Expo Humber at the Bonus Arena next month.

The elaborate exoskeleton has also appeared alongside Will Smith and Jackie Chan at events including New York Fashion Week and the Sochi Winter Olympics.

The bot will demonstrate his technological abilities to visitors from across the UK at the event on Tuesday 1 October.

Titan was created by a team of electronic engineers from tech-driven entertainment company Cyberstein Robots and has appeared in 48 countries.

Tech Expo Humber founder Antonio Tombanane, who is director at GB IT Recruitment, said: “Titan is a real advancement in the field of robotics and a great example of innovation and the use of tech that we are championing at the expo.

"We are delighted to confirm his appearance and look forward to seeing him in action.”

The event unites tech, talent and enterprise in the region to inspire students to join the growing tech industry.

It will bring together some of the biggest global tech giants for a series of seminars. Radio presenter Tatum McGreal will be compere.
