The flagship event for Tech Week Humber 2020 will take place virtually on Wednesday 11 November.

Last year's Tech Expo Humber attracted 2,000 to the Bonus Arena.

Registration is now open for this year's Tech Expo Humber, the flagship event for Tech Week Humber 2020.

The event will take place virtually on Wednesday 11 November.

Antonio Tombanane, founder of Tech Week Humber, said: “We believe Tech Expo Humber is an integral part of Tech Week as it allows us to not only showcase what the region has to offer but also invite global tech giants to be part of it”

More than 2,000 people attended the inaugural event last year as both enterprise and education sectors came together to highlight the possibilities tech has for the future of this region.

Tech Week Humber announced that the event would be going virtual last month as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

It promises to deliver talks from some of the world’s biggest brands including speakers from Google, Amazon, Airbus and IBM.

This year's Tech Week Humber will be held virtually.
The theme for this year’s event is A Connected Humber with the hope to highlight the region’s infrastructure, connect education and enterprise and showcase the region to the rest of the world.

Hull City Council is a partner for this year's event, alongside KCOM, Nordstar, DMCC, C4Di, the Department of International Trade, Reach PLC, Tech Nation, University of Hull, Marketing Humber, Wykeland, Click Digital and Wilberforce College.

Register for the event here.
