Surveys asks how Hull residents have been affected by lockdown

People in Hull are being urged to take part in series of short surveys into how they have been affected by the coronavirus lockdown.

Those who take the weekly tracker surveys could win £500 in high street shopping vouchers.

The surveys, titled Helping Hull Bounce Back, are part of Hull City Council’s People’s Panel project.

Questions include whether people think they have had coronavirus, whether they are keeping up with bills and other payments and whether they would feel safe going to work.

The results will be used to help Hull City Council to shape the city’s recovery.

Councillor Daren Hale, deputy leader of Hull City Council, said: “These very short weekly tracker surveys will be used to understand how people locally are doing and will enable us to understand what effects various actions are having to help people, whether local or national, and what action we might need to consider as restrictions ease.

“The results will be used to understand what services should be prioritised as we recover from the lockdown and start to open up.”

Another survey into the effects of lockdown that was launched in May closes on Friday.

Everyone who completes the survey before it closes will be entered into a prize draw to win up to £250.

The survey asks about how the lockdown has affected people’s relationships, wellbeing, finances and employment.
