East Bank Urban Village is an ambitious project in the centre of Hull which will feature up to 850 homes.
Hull City Council is seeking a lead developer partner for the brownfield site on the East Bank of the River Hull.
East Bank Urban Village will help to support growth and investment into the city centre.
The site has been allocated for mixed uses, including high-quality apartments with the opportunity for complimentary features such as social rooftop areas and spaces for families, outdoor play and integrated quality private amenity spaces.
A single developer is preferred and interested parties must sign up to the Homes England DPS framework to be considered.
Although this is a largely residential scheme, commercial opportunities will form part of the overall development.
The Grade II listed Trinity House Buoy Shed is currently an empty shell and offers opportunity for hospitality businesses or office accommodation over two floors with riverside views.
Proposals are also being discussed to link East Bank Urban Village into the Hull District Heat Network as part of the council’s commitment to net zero and tackling climate change.
