Tech Week Humber is back in Hull for 2021.

The popular tech event will take place from Monday 8 to Friday 12 November. This year's expo will be a hybrid of physical and virtual events, with a flagship exhibition taking place at the city's Bonus Arena on Tuesday 9 November.

A launch event with more announcements is taking place on Wednesday 9 June, as part of Humber Business Week. Register or find out more here.

Last year’s virtual event attracted almost 3,000 attendees and reached more than 4.5 million people from almost 50 countries.

Tech Week aims to promote the Humber as a location for technology and innovation while promoting tech skills.

The Humber region has seen an unprecedented amount of investment in tech recently, including Connexin’s £80m investment from Whitehelm Capital taking Hull into top spot among northern cities for tech investment.

Hull City Council is the founding partner for Tech Week Humber and has returned this year as a headline partner.

Founder Antonio Tombanane said: “We are delighted to be launching our event as part of Humber Business Week. We have some of the world’s largest tech companies coming to our region and looking to collaborate with our fantastic tech community."

This year also sees the return of the much-anticipated Hull and Humber Tech Awards.

Tech consultancy GBE Connect, the event’s organiser, is encouraging local, regional and national businesses in every industry to get involved.
