Sutton Fields Industrial Estate in Hull has a large-scale private sector development opportunity on a publicly owned piece of land.

A plot of 7.54 acres off Stockholm Road has become available to accommodate business premises.

The site presents a large brownfield opportunity in a well sought after industrial estate.

Development of the site would provide a strong employment offer and fulfil the City’s ambition to unlock employment on brownfield land within the city.

Part of the site also has the opportunity to be used as an energy hub, with the possibility of wind turbines and EV charging points.

In addition, there is also scope for a possible heat storage system and a green hydrogen generator on site, reaffirming the council’s commitment to tackling climate change and becoming net zero.

Alex Codd, the council’s assistant director for economic development and regeneration, said: “This is an exciting business development opportunity and has the potential for a significant end user to locate on the last remaining plot in Sutton Fields Industrial estate.

“Sutton Fields Industrial Estate is full of thriving local, national and international businesses and is easily accessible, this site provides a further opportunity to drive growth.”

Sutton Fields Industrial Estate is only two miles from Hull city centre, five miles from the Port of Hull and less than four miles from the A63.
