Aldi's "tired" Hessle supermarket could be given a welcome face-lift as expansion plans are revealed.

The supermarket chain, which has a branch in Henry Boot Way, wants to increase the size of the store by more than 5,000 sq ft.

Aldi also has stores in Anlaby Road, Beverley Road, West Carr Lane and in Beverley.

“The purpose of the floorspace extension is to create a better shopping experience for its customers, while also increasing efficiencies.
