Rishi Sunak visits Green Port Hull to mark the six month milestone until Britain hosts the COP26 climate conference.

Siemens Gamesa has submitted plans to double the size of the site in Hull.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has visited Hull to discuss how green jobs will drive the UK’s economy - revealing 200 roles will come with the Siemens Gamesa blade plant expansion.

He visited Green Port Hull to mark the six month milestone until Britain hosts the COP26 climate conference.

The Humber is at the forefront of the offshore wind industry and wider decarbonisation, with £75 million recently allocated to Able Marine Energy Park on the South Bank.

Siemens Gamesa has submitted plans to double the size of the site in Hull.
