Hull's Western Docklands zone runs parallel to the A63 from the edge of Hull city centre to the western outskirts of the city.
The zone takes in large swathes of waterfront property including the western docks, as well as established industrial and commercial areas. Covering 355 acres of land in total, with development plots ranging from 2.5 acres to 37 acres, the zone has been subject to a masterplanning exercise and is ripe
for industrial and commercial-led redevelopment, following a £350m investment by National Highways on the A63. The area is home to some of the leading businesses locally including Smith & Nephew, Arco and Indivior
