Hull City Council’s Making Changes for Careers (MC4C) programme is proud to announce that the Neurodiverse and Care Experienced Christmas Exhibition is taking place at the guildhall on Friday 12th December 2025.

The inclusive festive event has been designed to celebrate neurodiverse talent and entrepreneurship, whilst also showcasing and supporting business ventures from care experienced young people and care leavers across the city.

With the help from the Neurodiversity and Entrepreneurship Association, the MC4C team has created a neurodiversity manifesto which enables others to adapt and support more effectively.

The fayre will bring together young, neurodiverse business owners who may face barriers to traditional markets, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and other neurological differences.

It will also provide a supported platform to promote their creativity, skills and enterprise ideas in a welcoming, accessible environment.

Neurodiverse and Care Experienced Christmas Exhibition aims to raise awareness of the powerful association between neurodiversity and innovation, highlighting how differences in thinking styles can support creativity, problem-solving and business success when the right support is in place.

Visitors can expect:

  • Festive gifts, handmade crafts and independent retail products and services.
  • A quiet area and trained staff support throughout
  • A celebration of care leaver business owners and their journeys
