Latus Group, a provider of occupational health and medical services, has opened a new clinic within its headquarters in Hull.
It will be the first of a nationwide rollout of Latus Resilience Hubs, designed to reduce the UK workplace absenteeism crisis and improve UK productivity.
The clinic will offer a full suite of regular occupational health services, including pre-employment medicals, health surveillance, and general medical assessments.
In addition, it will be particularly beneficial for companies working within the region’s maritime, offshore, and renewable energy sectors and will offer a comprehensive range of specialist medical examinations, including critical medical certifications for the maritime and offshore industries.
This includes ENG1 Medicals for seafarers working on UK-registered vessels, OEUK Medicals for individuals in the offshore oil and gas industry, and RUK Medicals for those working in the renewable energy sector, particularly offshore wind.
Jack Latus, CEO of LATUS, said: “We are thrilled to open this new clinic at our Hull headquarters, which marks an exciting milestone for LATUS, enabling us to enhance our service offering to both existing and new clients.
“This investment underscores our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our clients and expanding our capacity to deliver essential medical services.
“Offering these specialist medical services here in Hull means we can provide a more streamlined and convenient service for individuals and businesses in the maritime, offshore, and renewable energy sectors, and better support these companies which are so vital to our local economy.”
The business was founded in 2017 by former professional rugby league player and current Hull Kingston Rovers board member. Earlier this year, it forecast a 109 per cent growth for 2025.
It currently provides tech-enabled occupational health solutions, from general occupational health assessments to highly specialised medical examinations for industries such as offshore and aviation, to over 4,000 clients including Dyson, Ford, RAC Group and Full Circle Wind Services.
