Hull City Council’s Invest Hull team will be showcasing what Hull has to offer at the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) this time next week.

Invest Hull is dedicated to attracting new investment to the city and the team’s focus has drawn in billions in private investment during the last decade, helping to boost the local economy and creating hundreds of new jobs.

The forum will allow the council the opportunity to provide UKREiiF’s delegation of national and international investors, developers, and end-users an insight into plans, prospects and development opportunities for the city.

Hot topics for the event include the ongoing Albion Square development and East Bank Urban Village project, as well as the exciting opportunities at Colonial Place and Mytongate.

These projects have welcomed significant external investment and will bring further high-quality city centre living.

Albion Square has also benefitted from NHS backing for the soon-to-be-opened Community Diagnostic Centre.

The Invest Hull team will showcase what Hull has to offer.

The Invest Hull team attending UKREiiF is being led by Chris Jackson, director of regeneration at the council, whilst the council’s leader, Cllr Mike Ross will give a speech during the opening of the forum, promoting the city and the many investment opportunities it has to offer.

Cllr Ross said: “We’re delighted to be back at UKREiiF for 2025.

“The council is a longstanding supporter of the event and we look forward to showcasing the latest wave of exciting regeneration opportunities which Hull has to offer, such as Colonial Place, Mytongate and the City Centre Vision.

“UKREiiF has yielded success for the council in the past, with initial discussions with ECF, our recently appointed lead developer partner for East Bank Urban Village, taking place at the event.”

Led by the UK’s leading property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, this is the fourth annual UKREiiF event.

The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.

UKREiiF 2025, in partnership with Pagabo Group, takes place from Tuesday 20 to Thursday 22 May at Royal Armouries, Leeds. Cllr Ross’ speech will take place at 9:15am on Tuesday 20th in the Bury Theatre.

The Invest Hull team will be on stand D30 in New Dock Hall.
